Scuba Diving in Cyprus is amazing, as there are magnificent diving sites. You can dive from April right through to Christmas. Kyrenia is the main centre as most diving schools are based here. There are over twenty dive sites within easy reach of Kyrenia harbour alone. There are various professional diving schools with PADI certificates.

In spring there are organised flower and orchid walks as Cyprus is home to some of the most beautiful and rare species of orchid and wild flower, including 130 endemic plants of which 19 are only found on the North of the island...

There are over 300 different species of bird in Cyprus. Some native to Cyprus, where some are an endemic sub-species (only found in Cyprus). Cyprus is on a north-south migration route and there are many birds in transit, some in vast flocks, and some in small clusters. These migrating birds may only rest for a few days to a week. March to May is the period of north-ward migration and August to October the south-ward.

Fishing trips, private charter & daily sailings can be organized from the harbour in Kyrenia. The season lasts from mid March until the end of November. A holiday in North Cyprus would simply not be complete without enjoying the sea breeze onboard one of the many available vessels from the historic Kyrenia harbour. Whether to scuba dive, sight see or to simply relax at sea these trips are well worth the modest cost.
